Vendue House – Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding agreements. By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

Account Registration

To participate in auctions, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activity under your account.

Property Listings

All property listings must be submitted with accurate descriptions, documentation, and photos.
Sellers represent that they have legal authority to list and sell the property. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove listings that violate our guidelines or legal obligations.

Listing Fees

Sellers must pay a listing fee once their property submission is approved. This fee is non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

Auction Process

– Sellers choose a reserve or starting price and a requested auction end date.
– During the live auction, buyers may place bids according to the rules outlined on the platform.
– Sellers have the right to approve or reject bids in real-time.

We reserve the right to pause, cancel, or extend auctions in cases of technical error, suspected
fraud, or other extenuating circumstances.

Winning Bids and Transactions

Upon completion of an auction, the seller will be connected with the winning bidder to proceed with the home buying process, including signing contracts and handling escrow. Both parties are expected to act in good faith to complete the transaction promptly.

Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers are responsible for reviewing all property information and conducting due diligence prior to bidding. All bids are binding and final once approved by the seller.

Platform Rules and Conduct

Users agree not to:
– Post false or misleading content
– Interfere with other users or auctions
– Attempt to manipulate bidding
– Use automated tools to place bids or scrape data

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Limitation of Liability

Vendue House is not a party to any property transaction. We provide a platform for communication and bidding but do not guarantee the condition of properties or the performance of either party.

In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.

Privacy

Use of the platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law
